Russia launched massive strikes on Zaporizhzhia at night: what is known about the consequences

According to glavcom.ua: On the night of December 24, Russian occupation forces attacked one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration, Ivan Fedorov. It is noted that during the shelling, a residential building was damaged, as well as garages and cars were set on fire.

According to preliminary data, at least three strikes on the regional center have been recorded. Emergency services are currently working at the scene, assessing the consequences of the shelling. There is currently no information about the casualties.

Other events on the front

It is also worth noting that on the evening of December 23, an enemy drone attacked the technical floor of a nine-story residential building in Chernihiv. In addition, there were 110 combat engagements on the front line.

The enemy recorded one missile and 41 aviation strikes, fired 38 missiles, and dropped 105 guided aerial bombs. They also used 5,584 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,210 shellings of residential areas and positions of the Ukrainian armed forces.

Zaporizhzhia and Chernihiv once again became arenas of fierce fighting and aggression from the occupiers. The situation in eastern Ukraine remains tense, and the authorities are making every effort to protect the civilian population and the territorial integrity of the country.
