Naftogaz calls on the IMF for support: Ukraine needs money for a stable winter

Head of Naftogaz Serhiy Koretsky stated that international financial support is very important for Ukraine to ensure a stable heating season. During a meeting with representatives of the International Monetary Fund, he emphasized that special attention is paid to preparations for winter, including the import of additional volumes of gas and replenishment of reserves in underground storage facilities.

Systematic attacks by Russia on gas infrastructure

'One of the key topics of negotiations was the consequences of systematic attacks by Russia on civilian gas infrastructure, which pose a serious threat to the security of the energy system,' Koretsky emphasized.

Koretsky also highlighted the importance of international cooperation to enhance the resilience of Ukraine's energy network. He also noted that measures are being taken jointly with partners to increase the resilience of the energy system.
