In Ukraine, a 40-degree heatwave is expected: forecasters warn of an anomaly

According to hvylya.net: Forecasters in Ukraine noted that at the end of August an abnormal heat is expected, with temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius.

According to the meteorological resource Ventusky, by the end of August, a significant part of the country will experience intense heat. The weather will be extremely hot, with temperatures ranging from +33 to +35 degrees in most regions, and in some places it may reach dangerous values of +38...+39 degrees.

August 27

Forecasts indicate that from Wednesday the heat will begin throughout Ukraine. In the central and eastern regions, daytime temperatures will rise to +29...+33 degrees. Hot conditions will be moderate only in the west and north of the country, where temperatures are expected to be +18...+22 degrees.

August 28

On Thursday, it will be hot almost everywhere in Ukraine, with temperatures of +27...+33 degrees. Although in the mountainous regions of the Carpathians and in some regions the temperature may be a bit lower, reaching +27 degrees during the day.

August 29

Friday is expected to bring the highest heat with temperatures of +34...+36 degrees. Particularly heavy conditions will be in Transcarpathia, where the thermometer may rise to +38 degrees.

August 30

On Saturday, the weather will be extremely hot with temperatures approaching 40 degrees. The most severe conditions are expected in the Transcarpathian, Chernivtsi and Ternopil regions, where it may reach up to +39 degrees.

August 31

On Sunday, precipitation and cool weather are expected in the western regions, while in other parts of the country the heat will remain at +35...+37 degrees. In the first days of September, the heat will continue, but in the west there will be a noticeable cooling with short showers.

It is reminded that forecaster Didenko warns of a rainy atmospheric front.

As September approaches, Ukrainians can expect abnormally hot days, when thermometers will show up to 40 degrees Celsius. Forecasters predict that the heat will concentrate in the southern regions and in Transcarpathia, while in the western regions of the country rains and coolness may occur. Stay cool!
