Pensions in Autumn: Who Will Receive Increases and by How Much

According to hvylya.net: In spring, Ukrainian pensioners received a significant increase in their payments due to a large-scale recalculation. Many viewed this as important assistance in the face of rising prices for goods and services.

As reported by 'Hvylya', this was announced by the Pension Fund's press service.

Age Supplement

This supplement is granted without additional applications and applies to a specific group of citizens: those who are 70 years old and receive labor pensions. A mandatory condition is: the total amount of the pension must be less than 10,340.35 UAH per month.

The amount of the supplement is determined by age:

• 70-74 years: 300 UAH monthly
• 75-79 years: 456 UAH monthly
• 80 years and older: 570 UAH monthly

Additional Support for Lonely Elderly Citizens

There is a separate type of assistance for elderly people living alone and needing outside help due to health conditions. This type of support is regulated by specific legislation on social assistance.

Criteria for receiving the allowance:

• age over 80 years;
• absence of cohabitants;
• verified need for care.

The amount of the allowance is 40% of the subsistence minimum, which currently equals 944.40 UAH.

To receive such assistance, one must personally visit the territorial division of the Pension Fund with a set of documents: a standard application, passport, a certificate stating that no similar payments have been assigned, and medical conclusions about the health condition.
