Pensions for servicemen: how to properly arrange payments

According to hvylya.net: Pension provision is not only for career servicemen, but also for conscript servicemen, as well as certain categories of individuals equated to them by pension status.

According to the Pension Fund, conscript servicemen and individuals who are provided with a pension on par with conscript servicemen, members of their families applying for pensions due to disability or in case of loss of the breadwinner submit an application and necessary documents to the territorial body of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

• in person - at the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
• online - through the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

Procedure for submitting a pension application

If a serviceman has been assigned a disability or has reached the appropriate age, the application for a pension is submitted to the territorial body of the Pension Fund in person or online.

After being discharged from service, a pension may be granted under military law.
