In September, Pension Fund Disbursed 68.8 Billion UAH in Pensions and Social Benefits, Delivering Nearly One Million Services

According to Пенсії (RSS): By September 23 this year, Ukraine's social welfare system had allocated funds across several key areas, including:

• pension payments
• housing subsidies and benefits
• insurance payouts
• social assistance programs

The total amount distributed for pension payments reached 68.8 billion hryvnias. Of this, 9.2 billion hryvnias were processed through JSC 'Ukrposhta,' while authorized banks handled 59.6 billion hryvnias.

Additionally, 1.4 billion hryvnias were allocated for housing subsidies and benefits. Insurance payments amounted to 2.9 billion hryvnias, with 1.5 billion hryvnias specifically covering sick leave compensations. Social assistance and other related payments totaled 9.3 billion hryvnias. Throughout September, the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 995,400 services to individuals seeking support.

These figures highlight the government's active role in social protection, a critical factor for supporting the population amid ongoing economic challenges.

The funded payments reflect the state’s commitment to social equity and aid for vulnerable groups, emphasizing the essential infrastructure-such as financial institutions and public enterprises-that ensures effective delivery of these benefits.
