Ukrainian Pension Fund Disburses 3.5 Billion Hryvnias: Report Details

Pension and Sick Leave Payments Funded

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of April 2nd, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has financed a total of 3.5 billion hryvnias (UAH) for pension payments. This funding is a critical part of the nation's social safety net, ensuring support for retirees and other vulnerable groups. The report also details financing for sick leave payments and the volume of services provided throughout April.

The 3.5 billion hryvnias for pensions was distributed through two primary channels:

• 1.8 billion hryvnias were allocated to authorized banks,
• and 1.7 billion hryvnias were paid out via the joint-stock company 'Ukrposhta'.

Separately, an additional 195.6 million hryvnias were designated for sick leave compensation. In April, the Pension Fund also processed 140.2 thousand services for individuals who applied to its offices.
