Ukrainian Pension Fund Allocates 82.4 Billion Hryvnias: A Breakdown of Expenditures

According to Пенсії (RSS): The Pension Fund of Ukraine has provided data on its funding for social payments and the volume of services rendered in March. This month, the Fund's offices processed services for 1,204,900 individuals who applied for assistance.
Allocated Funds
As of March 20, the following amounts were financed:
- Pension payments – 65.4 billion UAH, of which 9.4 billion UAH were distributed via Ukrposhta (Ukrainian Postal Service) and 56 billion UAH through authorized banks;
- Housing subsidies and benefits – 4.6 billion UAH;
- Insurance payments – 3 billion UAH, including 1.8 billion UAH for sick leave compensation;
- State aid and other payments – 9.4 billion UAH.
These figures demonstrate the Pension Fund's active role in administering social benefits, a cornerstone of the state's social policy. Pension expenditures continue to represent the largest share of this budget, underscoring the critical need to fund social programs that support vulnerable citizens. The substantial volume of services processed indicates a high demand for social support, with timely financing being essential for maintaining stability in Ukraine's social sector during a period of significant economic strain.
