Ukrainian Pension Fund Disburses 63 Billion Hryvnias in February

Funding for Social Payments in Ukraine

According to Пенсії (RSS): The Ukrainian Pension Fund has released data on social payment funding as of February 23. During February, the Fund processed 1,224,900 services for individuals who applied to its offices.

A total of 63.1 billion hryvnias was allocated for pension payments. This sum was distributed as follows:

• 8.9 billion hryvnias were paid out via JSC 'Ukrposhta',
• 54.2 billion hryvnias were disbursed through authorized banks.

In addition, 4.6 billion hryvnias was financed for housing subsidies and benefits, while 3.1 billion hryvnias was allocated for insurance payments. Of this insurance amount, 1.8 billion hryvnias was designated for sick leave compensation. A further 8.5 million hryvnias was financed for state aid and other payments.
