According to Пенсії (RSS): Ukraine's Pension Fund has released its financial report for the period ending February 26, detailing the amounts paid out under various social programs and the number of services provided. In February alone, the Fund's offices handled and provided services for 1,477,500 individual cases.

Funding Allocation and Payment Totals

According to the published data, 68.8 billion hryvnias were allocated for pension payments. Of this total, 8.9 billion hryvnias were distributed via Ukrposhta, the national postal service, while authorized banks disbursed 59.9 billion hryvnias. Furthermore, 4.6 billion hryvnias were funded for housing subsidies and benefits, and 3.5 billion hryvnias for insurance payments, which include 2.2 billion hryvnias in sickness benefits. An additional 8.5 million hryvnias were designated for state aid and other payments.

These figures highlight the Pension Fund's active role in administering social security, a critical function for public welfare amidst ongoing economic pressures. The funding for housing subsidies is a key component, directly assisting households with their cost of living. Maintaining these social payments is essential for stability within the country's social support systems, which are a vital safety net for millions of citizens.
