Ukraine's Pension Fund Disburses 74.7 Billion Hryvnias in March: A Breakdown of Expenditures

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of March 27, Ukraine's Pension Fund has provided data on its social payment funding and the volume of services rendered during the month. In March, the Fund's offices processed services for 1,584,500 individuals who applied for assistance.

Funding Volumes

The data shows that 74.7 billion hryvnias (UAH) were allocated for pension payments. This total was distributed through two primary channels:

• 9.7 billion UAH were paid via the joint-stock company 'Ukrposhta';
• 65.0 billion UAH were disbursed through authorized banks.

Beyond pensions, an additional 4.6 billion UAH was allocated for housing subsidies and benefits. A further 3.7 billion UAH was designated for insurance payments, of which 2.5 billion UAH covered sick leave compensation. State benefits and other payments received 11.5 billion UAH in funding.

These figures highlight the Pension Fund's significant role in administering Ukraine's social safety net. The consistent funding of pensions, subsidies, and other aid is a cornerstone of state social policy, particularly during a period of economic strain and conflict. This financial support is crucial for stabilizing the livelihoods of millions of vulnerable citizens, including retirees and those affected by the war.
