Ukraine's Pension Fund Allocates 92.6 Billion Hryvnias in March: A Breakdown of Expenditures

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of March 26, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has financed payments totalling 92.6 billion hryvnias. This substantial sum covers pensions, subsidies, insurance payments, and state assistance. During March, the Fund also provided over 1.5 million services to individuals who applied to its offices.

Distribution of Funds

A detailed breakdown shows that 74.7 billion hryvnias were allocated for pension payments, distributed as follows:

• 9.7 billion hryvnias were paid out via JSC Ukrposhta (the national postal service);
• 65.0 billion hryvnias were disbursed through authorized banks.

In addition, 4.6 billion hryvnias were directed towards housing subsidies and benefits, while 3.6 billion hryvnias funded insurance payments, of which 2.3 billion hryvnias were for sick leave compensation. A further 9.7 billion hryvnias was allocated for state aid and other social payments.

These funded payments demonstrate the resilience of Ukraine's social security system amidst ongoing economic challenges.
