Pensioners Will Lose 20% of Their Pension: PFU Warned
Пенсіонерів чекають нові зменшення виплат: Фонд соціального страхування попереджає про скорочення пенсій.

Ukrainian pensioners may lose part of their payments due to dissatisfaction with the rules, warns the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Failing to timely report personal data changes may result in the loss of up to one-fifth of the pension.

Most problems arise because pensioners do not report moving, taking a side job, or obtaining a new passport within ten days, as required by the rules. This can lead to debt collection and loss of part of the pension.

If due to late reporting, a person received excess funds, the fund will start to recover the debt by taking twenty percent from each monthly payment.

Forgetful pensioners should also remember the need to carry their pension certificate when using free travel on public transport; otherwise, they may be fined a significant amount.

Experts urge pensioners to be attentive to formalities, as any negligence can lead to serious financial losses.
