Pensioners aged 70 and older will receive an additional payment of up to 1000 hryvnias: conditions for receiving

In September 2025, certain Ukrainian pensioners may receive additional payments of up to 1000 hryvnias according to law 1664-IX. To take advantage of this, certain conditions must be met.

An additional payment of 944 hryvnias

This assistance is intended for pensioners over 80 years old who live alone and require constant medical care. The amount of this payment is 40% of the subsistence minimum for individuals who have lost their ability to work, which in 2025 will be 944 hryvnias.

Age-related payments of up to 570 hryvnias

Ukrainian pensioners can receive monthly compensation payments of up to 570 hryvnias depending on their age, provided that the total amount of their pension does not exceed 10,340 hryvnias, according to government resolution No. 168 from February 2023. The payment is automatically calculated upon reaching the corresponding age.

In September 2025, certain Ukrainian pensioners will have the opportunity to receive additional payments of up to 1000 hryvnias. This assistance is provided for various categories of people, including elderly pensioners and pension recipients, depending on their personal circumstances and needs.
