Internally displaced persons will receive money for housing: The Pension Fund clarified an important condition
According to hvylya.net: According to the document, military personnel and individuals who were in combat zones can participate in the state targeted assistance program for internally displaced persons renting housing. Now, the head of the family can independently submit an application along with the rental agreement from a legal entity.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine has updated the rules for obtaining subsidies for rental housing for internally displaced persons renting premises from legal entities. The corresponding changes were approved by the government resolution dated April 11, 2025.
Documents and application submission methods
The mandatory package of documents may include copies of documents confirming the authority of the legal representative, information on divorce, establishment of a separate residence, payment of alimony, or residence of children.
Documents can be submitted through service centers and the Pension Fund's web portal, administrative services centers, certain banks, and the social web portal of the Ministry of Social Policy, if technically feasible.
The project continues to operate
The experimental project for housing rental subsidies and compensation of part of taxes for internally displaced persons is in effect based on the government order dated October 25, 2024.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine has made changes to the rules for obtaining subsidies for rental housing for internally displaced persons renting premises from legal entities. Now, internally displaced persons who are authorized representatives of families can independently receive assistance by renting housing from legal entities, provided they meet all necessary requirements and documents. It is important that they can prove their status and legitimacy of obtaining the subsidy when submitting an application. In addition, the experimental project for providing housing rental subsidies and compensation of part of taxes for internally displaced persons continues to operate.
