The text of the petition states that there are issues with the legal regulation of realtors and intermediaries in the real estate market in Ukraine. This leads to abuse, tax evasion, a shadow market, and the vulnerability of consumer rights.

According to glavcom.ua: A petition calling for the regulation of realtors' activities in Ukraine has been registered on the government portal and has gathered enough votes for consideration. It is currently awaiting government review, reports glavcom.ua.

  • Mandatory registration of realtors as individual entrepreneurs or legal entities is needed;
  • Minimum qualification requirements for realtors should be established;
  • A written contract must be ensured;
  • Commission charges without the client's consent should be prohibited;
  • Liability for violating the rules should be established.

During the war with Russia, the housing rental market in Kyiv has not reached the previous level. The offer of secondary housing has increased in the Transcarpathian and Cherkasy regions, but in the Odesa and Kyiv regions, the number of listings has decreased.

The petition for reforming the realtor market in Ukraine has gained popularity among citizens and is awaiting government review, drawing attention to the problems in this sector and demanding appropriate measures to improve the situation.
