Chinese fitness influencer Liu Weiqian set a new world record by lifting 144.72 kg with just his middle finger. This achievement surpasses the previous record by six kilograms. To accomplish this, the athlete designed a special device and maintained a vertical body position for ten seconds.
Over 14 years of training, Liu Weiqian has already set eight Guinness records. His achievements include weighted pull-ups on rings and a record for the most push-ups on fists.
During the record-setting attempt, Weiqian held his body in a vertical position for ten seconds, after which he carefully lowered the weight to the ground. For comparison, the weight he lifted is equivalent to that of a small black bear.

The previous record (501 kg) also belonged to Hafthor and was set in 2020.
