According to ХВИЛЯ: A new electronic system for verifying pensioners' right to free public transport is being introduced under draft law No. 5651-2. This system will replace the traditional paper certificates, with an electronic ticket linked directly to a pensioner's bank card serving as the new proof of entitlement. Consequently, paper pension IDs will no longer be valid for claiming free travel. This move is part of a broader digital transformation of public services in Ukraine.
