Warmer temperatures of 7-12°C are expected in western regions, with the Zakarpattia area potentially seeing highs of up to 15°C.

Kyiv and the surrounding region will also see changeable cloud cover with no precipitation. Winds in the capital and the oblast will remain variable at 3-8 m/s. Outlook for the Coming Days

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, a significant cooldown is anticipated across most of Ukraine starting March 9. In the northern and northeastern parts of the country, as well as in the Kyiv region, icy patches are expected to form on roads overnight. Western regions may be an exception, with temperatures remaining somewhat higher. Meteorologist Natalka Didenko noted:

"In the coming days, it is crucial to be cautious on the roads due to the potential for ice formation." - Natalka Didenko

This forecast indicates that March 7 will be one of the last relatively mild days before the cold front arrives. Such rapid shifts from mild to freezing conditions are not uncommon during the early spring transition in Eastern Europe. The impending drop in temperature and associated ice risk underscores the need for drivers and pedestrians to exercise increased caution, particularly in northern and northeastern areas, to avoid hazardous situations.
