Weather on October 23: First Frosts Expected in Some Regions

Forecasters have announced what the weather will be like in Ukraine on Thursday, October 23. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

On Wednesday, no precipitation is expected in most parts of the country, except for the northern regions, where light rain is expected at night in some areas. The temperature in the central and western regions will range from +3 to +8 degrees at night and +11 to +16 degrees during the day.

In the eastern regions, cooler weather is forecasted: at night from +1 to +6 degrees with possible ground frost and air temperatures from 0 to -3 degrees in some places. During the day, the temperature will rise to +8 to +13 degrees.

A southeast wind with a speed of 7-12 m/s is expected, and in the Carpathians, daytime gusts of wind can reach 15-20 m/s.

In the capital and region, cloudy weather with clearings is forecasted. Light rain may occur at night and in the morning in some areas.

• In the region: at night +3 to +8 degrees, during the day +11 to +16 degrees
• In Kyiv: at night +5 to +7 degrees, during the day +14 to +16 degrees
• Wind: southeast, 7-12 m/s.

According to forecasters, on Thursday, October 23, humid and cool weather with light precipitation is expected in the northern regions of Ukraine. Night temperatures will vary across different areas, and frost occurrences should be prepared for in the eastern regions.
