Social Payments and Benefits in Ukraine

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of July 23, 2023, Ukraine has funded a range of social payments. A total of 71.8 billion UAH was directed toward pension disbursements, with 9.3 billion UAH paid via Ukrposhta JSC and 62.5 billion UAH through authorized banks.

Additional Social Expenditures

Beyond pensions, 1.4 billion UAH was allocated for housing subsidies and benefits, while 2.8 billion UAH went to insurance payouts-1.5 billion UAH of which covered sick leave. Social assistance and other payments received 11.0 billion UAH. During July, the Pension Fund of Ukraine delivered 1,071,100 services to individuals seeking support.

These figures highlight the ongoing funding of social programs in Ukraine, a critical lifeline for citizens amid economic challenges. A substantial portion of the budget is dedicated to pensions, which are essential for supporting the elderly. The high volume of services provided by the Pension Fund reflects a growing demand for social assistance across the population.
