According to glavcom.ua: Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died in the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Volodymyr Koval.

24-year-old Volodymyr Koval died on June 10, 2025, while serving on the front lines to defend Ukraine. He was born on August 27, 2000, in Vinnytsia, grew up without a mother, and experienced a difficult childhood, but his new family did everything possible to make him feel loved.

Volodymyr studied, worked, but always dreamed of a military career. In 2020, he joined the army, where he served as a scout and participated in combat operations on Ukrainian territory.

“Volodymyr loved Vinnytsia very much, was a patriot of his city and country. He dreamed of military service since childhood; he was a true warrior devoted to his country,” notes the sister of the fallen Hero.

On June 16, Volodymyr Koval was buried at the Alley of Glory in the Sabariv Cemetery. The national media portal also joined in a moment of silence to honor the memory of all who gave their lives for Ukraine, including those who died in the war with Russia.

Ukrainians daily honor the memory of all deceased military personnel and civilians who lost their lives in the Russo-Ukrainian war. Each story of heroism and sacrifice is a reminder of the importance of peace and deep devotion to the struggle for the freedom and sovereignty of the country.
