According to glavcom.ua: Today, the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, turns 60 years old. On this special day for him, the 'European Solidarity' team decided to support the Ukrainian army and make a donation for necessary equipment for the front.
Marina Poroshenko congratulated her husband on the holiday by recording a touching video. 'Your optimism and inner strength inspire. They give faith and hope. They make us move forward and never give up. You are just as you are, and I love and respect you just the way you are. Today, I do not wish for anything extraordinary. I only ask you: do not stop dreaming and make your dreams come true in life. For a happy, fair, and democratic life for the whole country,' she addressed her husband, Marina Poroshenko.
The 'European Solidarity' faction and Poroshenko's team provided aid through the 'Public Affairs' fund. This time, it is about drone detectors – equipment that is in short supply at the front and critically necessary for the safety of Ukrainian military personnel.
Biography of Petro Poroshenko
Petro Poroshenko is the fifth president of Ukraine (2014–2019), a people's deputy of several convocations, and the leader of the 'European Solidarity' party. He is a businessman, the owner of the Roshen corporation, and has also served as the former Minister of Foreign Affairs (2009–2010) and Minister of Economics and Trade (2012).
During his presidency, the Association Agreement with the EU was signed, a visa-free regime was introduced, the military budget was increased, and the Tomos was obtained for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. However, he was also involved in investigations and scandals related to anti-corruption violations.
Petro Poroshenko turned 60, and on this occasion, his wife Marina and the 'European Solidarity' party decided to support the Ukrainian army by making a donation for essential frontline equipment. This time, it was about drone detectors, which are critically necessary for the safety of Ukrainian military personnel.
