Ambassador's speech in Poland regarding the behavior of ultras during the match
According to glavcom.ua: The Ambassador of Ukraine in Poland, Vasyl Bodnar, expressed his opinion on how the Legia ultras behaved during the match against Shakhtar. The banners with provocative messages and the offensive slogans they chanted had nothing to do with the football match.
The ambassador expressed difficulty in understanding the motives behind such behavior and emphasized that it could be an attempt to divert attention from real issues. According to him, Poland supports Ukrainian athletes during the war.
Let us recall that the Ukrainian national team suffered a defeat against France in the qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup at the stadium in Wroclaw. At the same time, Ukrainian fans supported their team by raising a large banner with the inscription 'Fortress of Europe'.
In this news, the Ukrainian ambassador in Poland expressed his outrage regarding the provocations and insults made by the ultras during the football match. He also noted the support from Poland to Ukrainian athletes and talked about the events related to the performance of the Ukrainian national team against France in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
