Air alert sounds across Ukraine: what threat
According to glavcom.ua: On Saturday evening, an alert was declared across Ukraine due to the takeoff of the MiG-31K, which was carrying 'Dagger' missiles. This information was announced with reference to the Telegram of the Ukrainian Air Force.
At 17:38, Ukrainian military recorded a fast aerial target over Chernihiv region, which initially headed towards Kyiv region, and then changed direction towards Zhytomyr region.
As of 17:40, the missile was spotted heading towards Starokostyantyniv (Khmelnytskyi region), where explosions were heard later. At 17:45, the Air Force again spotted a missile over Chernihiv region, which was moving towards Zhytomyr region.
At 17:51, reports of new explosions in Khmelnytskyi region were received.
On the night of July 4, the Russian occupying army attacked the capital of Ukraine with drones and missiles. The consequences of this attack were recorded at 13 locations in Kyiv. According to reports, 23 civilians were injured, 14 of whom were hospitalized.
During the attack, the consular section of the Polish embassy and several branches and a sorting depot of 'Nova Poshta' were damaged. The sending of orders by the publishing house 'Our Format' is temporarily suspended, which plans to resume operations next week.
In recent days, Ukraine has been facing an increasing level of tension due to the missile threat, which poses a risk to the civilian population and the country's infrastructure. Further steps are needed to effectively manage the crisis situation and protect the population from such attacks.
