According to Главком: An air raid alert was declared in Kyiv at 07:16 due to a threat from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), following a complex overnight attack by the Russian Federation. The assault, which occurred during the night, resulted in one fatality and four injuries, three of whom required hospitalization.
This latest attack on the capital and surrounding region began at 04:53, just as a previous air raid alert was being lifted. Monitoring resources reported that the following arsenal was launched against Kyiv and the Kyiv region:
- six 'Iskander' ballistic missiles,
- two 3M22 'Zircon' hypersonic missiles,
- approximately two 9M727 cruise missiles,
- roughly four Kh-32 cruise missiles.
The attack caused significant damage, with falling debris igniting fires and damaging buildings in several districts of the capital. This multi-weapon strike demonstrates Russia's continued efforts to overwhelm Ukrainian air defenses with varied and advanced systems.
