According to НВ — Техно: On June 5 at 9:00 AM, Luyten launched the Ascend tower crane, a system that merges traditional construction crane architecture with robotic concrete placement and 3D printing functions. The Ascend features a working radius of up to 45 meters and can build structures as tall as 100 meters. Setup takes just one or two days, potentially accelerating construction timelines significantly.

This development uses Luyten's patented Ultimatecrete concrete for structural work. The system also employs artificial intelligence to generate print paths and track progress in real time. According to Luyten, their innovation tackles several persistent challenges in the construction sector, including reducing reliance on manual labor and cutting material waste.

Impact on the Construction Industry

“The industry needs technologies that integrate with the infrastructure already shaping our cities,” said Ahmed Mahil, founder and CEO of Luyten.

He added that physical assets once used solely for moving materials will evolve into digital manufacturing systems. This highlights the Ascend's strong potential to transform construction workflows.
