According to glavcom.ua: Keith Kellogg emphasized that the 'Vietnamese scenario' of war carries the risk of a protracted conflict with heavy losses and political defeat, even with a strong army or international support. A prolonged war in Ukraine could cause disorientation and loss among the population. China's resolution of the conflict could be key to a swift end to the confrontation and to preventing the negative scenario of a 'Vietnamese war.'
Donald Trump's special representative, Keith Kellogg, stated at the YES 2025 conference that Ukraine has significant internal resilience and international support, and therefore will not repeat the 'Vietnamese scenario' and will maintain its statehood. He also expressed the opinion that without China's support, Russia would not be able to continue the war in Ukraine.
