Meeting of the Prime Minister with the President of the EBRD
According to Кабмін: Today, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliya Svyrydenko, met with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Renaud-Basso. During the meeting, they discussed several current issues.
Among the main topics of conversation were:
- ensuring the necessary financial resources for purchasing gas and guaranteeing a stable heating season;
- implementation of infrastructure and logistics projects to attract foreign investments;
- expected positive decision from the European Council regarding the new IMF program and the mechanism of reparations loans for financial support to the budget;
- plans to improve the work of Energoatom and other key energy companies to ensure transparency and efficiency in their activities.
'Ukraine and the EBRD continue to cooperate fruitfully and strengthen their partnership,' emphasized Yuliya Svyrydenko.
