Prigozhin is alive: journalist Karpenko claims the death of the Wagner PMC leader was staged
According to glavcom.ua: The founder and head of the private military company 'Wagner', Yevgeny Prigozhin, remains alive. This was reported by journalist and blogger Dmytro Karpenko, known for his interviews with Russian prisoners of war. Karpenko made this statement on the program 'And It Happened'.
'We do not know who was on board the plane that allegedly killed Prigozhin. What about the rule he himself established that the command of 'Wagner' should not fly together?', - said Karpenko.
Karpenko noted that he has evidence that Prigozhin is alive, but he did not disclose the details.
Yevgeny Prigozhin chose to disappear
The journalist emphasized that, in his opinion, Yevgeny Prigozhin chose to disappear to 'reset' the situation. Recall that on June 24, 2023, Yevgeny Prigozhin led eight thousand mercenaries of the 'Wagner' group in protest against the Russian military command.
Although Prigozhin died in a plane crash on August 23, 2023, his legacy continues through the 'Wagner' group, led by his son Pavel Prigozhin and Anton 'Lotus' Yelizarov. According to British intelligence, the 'Wagner' group withdrew from the frontline in Ukraine in May 2023.
Intelligence reports have suggested that the founder and head of the 'Wagner' company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, may have chosen to disappear to 'reset' the situation. His mysterious disappearance after the plane crash turned out to be part of a strategy that leaves many questions unanswered but continues to provoke heated discussions among journalists and intelligence agents.
