According to ХВИЛЯ: Due to the critical security situation in Ukraine, a forced evacuation has been announced in 58 settlements. It is planned to evacuate over three thousand children along with their parents. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba on Telegram.

Evacuation details

In particular, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, it is planned to evacuate 2463 children from 40 settlements of five communities. In the Zaporizhzhia region, 651 children will be taken out from four settlements of two communities. Additionally, on December 30, compulsory evacuation was announced in 14 settlements in the Chernihiv region.

Since the beginning of June, about 150 thousand people have been evacuated from frontline territories, among whom:

• about 18 thousand children;
• over 5 thousand persons with reduced mobility.

For the affected, 17 transit centers have been deployed, and over 80 thousand places for temporary accommodation of displaced persons have been prepared. An around-the-clock hotline for the Ministry of Reintegration is also operational at the number 15-48.

The evacuation measures, especially for children, emphasize the importance of ensuring the safety of the civilian population, particularly the most vulnerable categories.
