Veterans Learn: 2700 Combat Participants Acquired New Professions in 2025

According to hvylya.net: In 2025, the training program for veterans in the Centers for Vocational and Technical Education (CVTE) of the State Employment Service reached over 2,700 people, including 275 with disabilities due to the war.

The largest number of combat participants are directed towards acquiring a new profession or enhancing their qualifications in various fields of Ukraine. Residents of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, and Rivne regions are the most actively involved in such programs.

The training in 467 educational programs is popular among the veteran community, of which over 2,400 individuals have already benefited, as well as new professions – 243.

More than 2,500 men and 155 women are already participating in the programs. The employment service system operates 8 Centers for Vocational and Technical Education, which play an important role in supporting veterans and their professional integration.

Most Popular Professions Among Combat Participants

Among veterans, the most popular professions remain psychology, medical training, and civil defense, chosen by 42% of participants. There is also a high demand for professions as drivers, managing unmanned aerial vehicles, entrepreneurship, and IT.

This news highlights the successful implementation of the training program for veterans in Ukraine. It is noted that over 2,700 people have already taken advantage of these opportunities, particularly numerous combat participants. The popularity of training in various educational programs is emphasized, and the most popular professions among veterans are indicated.
