Program of preferential loans for the defense industry: who receives loans

Ukrainian enterprises of the defense industry received 38 preferential loans totaling more than 2 billion hryvnias in the first 6 months of 2025. This was reported by the Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin.

'More than 2 billion hryvnias - this is the amount of loans issued in the first half of the program of preferential lending for defense industry producers. This is 38 loans issued. More than 66 applications from defense enterprises are at various stages of consideration. And loans totaling almost 2 billion have already been approved for issuance,' he noted.

The highest number of applications for preferential loans comes from manufacturers of drones and their components. Ukrainian defense equipment manufacturers can receive support through loans from banks such as Ukreximbank, Oschadbank, MTB Bank, and PUMB.

Ukrainian enterprises of the defense industry received support from the state in the form of preferential loans to develop their production activities. This will help increase the production of defense equipment in the country and strengthen Ukraine's defense capability as a whole.
