According to Главком: The Office of the Prosecutor General commented on the provision of service housing to Prosecutor Oleksandr Hanilov, stating that it occurred on legal grounds. Hanilov received an apartment with an area of 110 sq. m. in Kyiv, being in the housing queue for 11 years. The press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General emphasized that the housing was provided to the prosecutor on legal grounds, highlighting the realization of a legally guaranteed right, rather than any forms of encouragement.
According to information, Oleksandr Hanilov is the father of five children. By the end of November 2025, eight employees of the Office of the Prosecutor General received service housing in Kyiv, with Hanilov receiving the largest apartment among all OGP employees.
