Simple and Healthy Breakfasts: Welcome Spring the Right Way
Very often, even the most beloved dishes become boring, and there arises a need to look for something new. If it concerns breakfast, this can ruin your mood for the whole day. With the arrival of spring, it's the perfect time to try something new: test new breakfast recipes that are filling and provide the body with essential nutrients.
You just need to choose the necessary products at the nearest store and buy spices.
Cottage Cheese and Banana Casserole
A tender and low-calorie dish for absolute beginners in baking. For preparation, we will need:
- 600 g of fatty cottage cheese;
- 50 g of semolina;
- 500 g of ripe bananas;
- 50 g of sugar;
- 30 g of sour cream;
- 2 g of vanillin;
- 30 g of breadcrumbs.
Set the oven temperature to 175 degrees and let it preheat. Then cook the semolina: add about 100 ml of water to the semolina and keep on heat until ready.
While the semolina is cooking, blend the bananas, cottage cheese, sugar, and vanillin. Let the porridge cool slightly and add it to the mixture.
Take a baking dish and grease it with vegetable or butter. Then sprinkle the bottom with breadcrumbs. Lay the cottage cheese mixture and distribute it evenly. On top, spread the sour cream as a separate layer. Bake for 25 minutes, then another 10 minutes at 180 degrees. Serve with tea and black coffee.
Oatmeal Pancakes
Another breakfast option for sweet lovers. You will need:
- 200 g of oatmeal;
- 4 eggs;
- 4 ripe bananas;
- 0.5 tsp of salt;
- 2 tbsp of vegetable oil of your choice.
Mix all the ingredients in a blender and let the dough rest a little so that the oats swell: this will take up to 15 minutes. Then fry the pancakes in a preheated skillet until golden brown. Serve with frozen berries, pear, honey, or peanut butter.
Turkish Poached Eggs
Rich in flavor and very aromatic, a simple option for every day. You only need:
- 2 eggs;
- dried garlic and parsley, cayenne pepper;
- 2 tbsp of melted butter;
- 100 g of plain yogurt.
Fill a saucepan or small pot with water, bring to a boil. Crack one egg into a bowl and pour it into the hot water. Wait until the white hardens, which takes up to 2 minutes. Do the same with the second egg.
Now let's prepare the sauce. Mix the yogurt, butter, and spices until the mass becomes homogeneous. Then pour it over the eggs placed on a plate. Serve with toast made of black bread and fresh greens.
