Rocket strike on Ternopil: 10 dead and injured children
According to glavcom.ua: The Russian Federation attacked Ternopil with missiles. Several explosions were heard in the city. This is reported by 'Glavcom' referencing local media.
Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported that as of 10:00, 10 people have been confirmed dead and 37 injured, including 12 children. Rescuers continue to evacuate people from blocked apartments. 'There are people under the rubble. We are working as carefully as possible – every minute could mean a saved life,' he noted.
As a result of the Russian attack on Ternopil, the chlorine content in the air significantly exceeded the norm. The Ternopil OVA urged residents to stay indoors and close windows.
President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the combined Russian strike on Ukraine. According to him, the occupiers launched more than 470 attack drones and 48 missiles of various types. In Ternopil, there were hits on residential nine-story buildings, and nine fatalities are reported. Government head Yulia Svyrydenko reported 22 injuries. As it is known, at 07:15 a series of powerful explosions occurred in the city. Locals on social networks report fires and thick smoke in various areas of the city. Additionally, there are power outages.

Later it became known that as a result of the strike, a high-rise building in Ternopil was severely damaged, with several floors destroyed.
'The killers struck our city with missiles and Shaheds. Buildings and residential houses are damaged. There are casualties. Relevant services are working on-site. More detailed information will be provided later,' said the mayor of Ternopil, Serhii Nadal.
