The Russian occupation army is attacking Chernihiv region
On the morning of August 31, the Russian occupation army struck Chernihiv region using drones. This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus.
According to the Regional State Administration, the enemy attacked a civilian critical infrastructure facility in the Nizhyn district. More than 30 thousand households were left without electricity, as well as part of the city of Nizhyn. All necessary services are working to restore electricity supply. Currently, as of 10:30 a.m., electricity supply to the city hospital and local water utility facilities has been restored. Work is ongoing

We remind you that on the night of August 31, the enemy heavily attacked the Odesa district using drones. The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleg Kiper, reported that the city of Chornomorsk and its surroundings were hit hardest. Private homes and administrative buildings also sustained damage. In some places, fires broke out, which were promptly extinguished by rescuers. One person is known to be injured.
Due to the continued attacks by Russian troops on the civilian population of Chernihiv region and Odesa region, people remain under threat to their lives and safety, and authorities are forced to mobilize all forces to eliminate the consequences of aggression.
