Attack on Belosersk: two civilians killed

According to glavcom.ua: Last evening, August 11, militants struck a residential quarter in Belosersk, resulting in the deaths of two civilians. This was reported by the press service of the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office.

«At midnight on August 11, 2025, the occupiers launched an attack on Belosersk. Shells «FAB-250» hit a residential area where civilians were present. A 43-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman died from their injuries,» the statement said.

Among the injured are seven more civilians who sustained various injuries, including mine-explosive injuries, traumatic brain injuries, shrapnel wounds, cuts, concussions, and contusions. Additionally, eight houses and six cars were damaged as a result of this attack.

Investigation of war crime

The prosecutor's office initiated a pre-trial investigation into the war crime related to the attack on the civilian population. It was stated that law enforcement agencies would make every effort to substantiate this aggressive act of the enemies.

As a reminder, a training unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was also attacked, resulting in the death of one serviceman, while many others were injured.

As a result of the militants' attack on Belosersk, two civilians were killed, and seven more were injured. The prosecutor's office began an investigation into the war crime and promises to hold the criminals accountable.
