While returning home after visiting friends, they came under direct fire as rockets flew overhead. For about 40 minutes, the family was forced to take cover on the roadside before they could safely reach their house.

Reports indicate that Makarevich's home suffered severe damage, including structural destruction and several fires. Fortunately, all family members survived without physical injury.

Wife's Account of the Incident

"We spent the evening at a friend's place and, frankly, stayed way too long. On the way back, we were treated to a spectacular fireworks display from Iran, right above our heads. After lying on the roadside for about 40 minutes, we managed to get home with quick dashes along the way."
