According to Главком: On January 2, 2023, the Russian terrorist army carried out attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, resulting in casualties and damage to buildings and infrastructure. The attack in Dnipropetrovsk occurred in the Synelnykove district, where two people - a man and a woman - were injured. As a result of the attack, a car caught fire and two private houses were damaged.

In Nikopol, the enemy used FPV drones and artillery, resulting in damage to the towns of Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrovsk, and Myrivska communities. A private enterprise and a power line were damaged, significantly complicating the situation in the region.

Strikes on Kharkiv

Additionally, on January 2, the Russian army also struck downtown Kharkiv. The strike hit a residential multi-story building in the Kyiv district of the city. According to preliminary information, there are casualties and significant destruction. Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov noted that information about the victims is still being clarified, and the destruction requires urgent response.

These attacks occur against the backdrop of escalating conflict in Ukraine, which has been ongoing since 2014, and highlight the constant threat to the civilian population. The damage inflicted on infrastructure and residential buildings could significantly complicate the lives of residents in affected regions and hinder the provision of humanitarian aid.
