Russia attacked Kyiv and the region: a Fire Point employee died, 19 injured
Attack on Kyiv and the Region
On the night of November 30, Russia launched a combined strike on Kyiv and the region, using strike drones, 'Kinzhal' missiles, ballistic and cruise missiles. The attack lasted about nine hours and covered five districts of the capital: Darnytskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Solomianskyi. As a result of this attack, a Fire Point employee in Vyshhorod was killed, and 19 people were injured, including four children.
Consequences of the Attack
Among the injured, eleven were hospitalized. The attack also led to damage to:
- three high-rise buildings,
- 14 private households,
- one enterprise,
- seven cars.
The Fire Point company, founded in 2022, specializes in the development of drones and missiles, including the FP-1 drones and the FP-5 'Flamingo' cruise missile.
Denys Shtylerman, a colleague of the deceased Fire Point employee, commented on the event, stating that:
“Today, during the attack on Vyshhorod, the Russians killed our colleague. His family is in critical condition in the hospital.”
He also added:
“The Russians were lucky that we, unlike them, do not retaliate against their residential buildings for the daily shelling of our peaceful cities, as we well know where many of our enemies live with their families.”
This attack is part of Russia's ongoing military aggression against Ukraine, raising concerns among the international community. It highlights not only the humanitarian consequences but also the impact on Ukraine's technology sector, particularly on companies involved in defense technologies. The colleague's statement reflects the emotional state and deep feelings of those facing the consequences of the war, as well as a certain level of restraint in response to aggression.
