Russia attacked Sumy with drones: residential buildings damaged
According to glavcom.ua: On Wednesday, October 8, the Russian terrorist army attacked Sumy with drones. 'Hits' were recorded. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the head of the Sumy city military administration Serhii Kryvosheienko.
'The first 'hit' was in the Kovalivka district of the city. As a result of the strike, a non-residential building caught fire, and private residential houses were damaged. Initially, there were no casualties,' the message states.
It is noted that the next strike from the Russian UAV hit the roof of a residential building in the Zarichnyi district. Details are being clarified.
Previous attacks on Sumy
Recall that on the morning of October 7, Russian forces attacked Sumy, hitting a trolleybus and damaging windows in residential and non-residential buildings. A passenger and the driver received assistance on the spot.
Earlier in Sumy, Russian forces attacked the perinatal center, causing the roof of the building to catch fire. This was reported by the head of the president's office Andrii Yermak and the mayor of Sumy Artem Kobzar. At the time of the strike, there were 11 children, 35 patients, and 120 staff members inside. Everyone managed to descend into the shelter, so there were no casualties.
Once again, the Russian terrorist army is attacking the peaceful population of Sumy. Attacks by drones were recorded on Sunday morning and Wednesday, leading to damage to buildings and residential premises. Another attack on the city, which is becoming more frequent, illustrates the escalation of the situation in Eastern Ukraine and the threat to the peaceful residents of the region.
