According to Главком: On the night of January 5, Russian troops carried out a massive attack on the territory of Ukraine, particularly in Chernihiv, Kyiv, and Kharkiv. The attack was executed using drones and missiles, leading to serious consequences.
According to information, between 250 and 300 unmanned aerial vehicles and up to 10 ballistic missiles were used during the shelling. Among the drones used were about 4 reactive UAVs of the 'Geran-3' type. The main targets of the attack were:
- military-industrial complex;
- energy infrastructure;
- oil and gas infrastructure.
As a result of the night shelling, one person was killed, and three others were injured. This attack marked another stage in the escalation of the conflict and a confirmation of the threat that exists to the civilian population in Ukraine.
