Preliminary reports indicate one person was killed and dozens were injured, including a child. In the capital region, the primary target was energy infrastructure, a recurring strategic focus for Russian forces.

Widespread Damage and Response

The nighttime barrage, which combined various types of attack drones with cruise and ballistic missiles, inflicted the most severe damage in Kharkiv. The strikes on critical civilian facilities, such as the maternity ward and housing for displaced people, have caused deep alarm among the city's residents. This attack is part of a sustained Russian campaign targeting Ukraine's civilian infrastructure, now in its third year.
