Russia has advanced in the Pokrovsk direction: new details from DeepState
Advancement of the Russian Army in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivsk Directions
According to glavcom.ua: The Russian army has been advancing in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivsk directions over the past day, with visual information received from 'Glavkom' and analysts at DeepState.
According to reports, the occupiers have made noticeable progress near the village of Novoivanivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, near Kalynivske in Dnipropetrovsk, and in the town of Udachne in Donetsk.
Strategy of the Russian Invaders
Artem Pribylov, head of the communications department of the 155th separate marine brigade, told 'Kyiv24' that the Russian invaders operating at the front are not using bulletproof vests and helmets.
He explained that currently, drones play a striking role on the battlefield, from which protective gear does not always help, thus the enemy prefers speed, lightness, and mobility during movements.
Specifically, in the Pokrovsk direction, there were situations where Russian soldiers checked the deceased from their ranks and took protective elements, including bulletproof vests and helmets, from them.
Situation in the Zaporizhzhia Direction
It is noteworthy that the Zaporizhzhia direction is a priority for the Russian army. The occupiers are eager to continue their advance towards Stepnohirsk, utilizing any means available to achieve this goal.
Also, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that the Russian troops are redirecting their units from the Sumy direction to Zaporizhzhia. The enemy aims to break through the Ukrainian defenses in this direction and continue the advance into Ukrainian territory. Russian forces plan to seize the entire region, including Zaporizhzhia.
The report described significant movements and successes of the Russian troops in Donbas, as well as details of the strategies and tactics employed in combat operations. Information about the use of drones and the refusal of protective gear indicates constant adaptation of both sides on the battlefield.
