Russia struck Kharkiv with Shaheds: there is one dead and injured, among them children

According to glavcom.ua: On August 18, for the second time that night, the Russian occupation army attacked Kharkiv. The first time with a ballistic missile, and this time they struck with 'Shaheds', reported the city's mayor Igor Terekhov. According to him, the enemy 'Shaheds' hit the Industrial District of Kharkiv, causing a fire in a multi-story residential building.

After the strike, floors from the second to the fourth are burning in one of the entrances, and the last floor is on fire in another. Terekhov also warned that as a result of the collapse of ceilings, people may be trapped under the rubble. One person was killed, and 15 were injured, among them are children aged 6 and 10 years.

Previous attacks by the Russian army

This attack is not the only assault by the Russian army on Kharkiv. Earlier, on the night of August 1, the armed forces of the Russian Federation struck the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region, destroying a children's psychiatric boarding school. In addition, on July 30, the regional center was also attacked by drones, leading to destruction and fires in the city.
