Russia attacked Odesa with drones at night: seven killed, residential building damaged

According to Главком: On the night of December 28, Russian terrorists attacked Odesa with drones. As a result of this attack, the residential sector was affected, in particular, a drone hit the roof of a two-storey residential building, causing a fire. According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, seven people were killed in the attack, and fifteen others were injured. All the injured were hospitalized.

Previous attacks on Odesa region

Earlier, on December 13, Odesa and the region also suffered attacks from Russian terrorists when missiles were launched at the city. At that time, six people were injured, including two children. In the result of enemy strikes, there were flare-ups at energy and port infrastructure facilities. As noted by Oleg Kiper, the enemy's target was a port infrastructure facility. Information regarding the casualties from the latest attack is currently being clarified, and relevant services are working at the scene.

This attack is part of systematic enemy actions against Ukraine, which have continued since the beginning of the conflict. Attacks on civilian objects, such as residential buildings, highlight the threat to the civilian population and worsen the humanitarian situation in the region.

The Odesa region, with its strategic positioning, remains an important target for the enemy, as confirmed by a series of attacks on energy and port infrastructure in recent months.
