According to Главком: On December 26, the Russian army struck the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in four people injured. According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, four KAB strikes were recorded. Among the injured are women aged 80, 65, and 57, as well as a 71-year-old man.

This attack occurred against the backdrop of recent incidents related to Russian shelling of Zaporizhzhia:

• On December 24, Russian troops struck one of the city districts, damaging a residential building.
• On December 16, three people were injured in a drone attack, and apartments on two floors of a residential building were burned down.
• On November 26, the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones, causing damage to at least seven high-rise buildings and several private houses.

The increase in the number of casualties from these attacks raises concerns among the local population. Ivan Fedorov stated:
