Russian troops launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia

On the night of October 4 to 5, Russian troops launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia, using Shahed strike drones and guided aerial bombs. According to preliminary data, there were at least 10 strikes on the city. This information was disclosed by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, on the pages of the publication "Glavkom".

As a result of the shelling, problems with electricity and water supply were recorded in several areas. A fire broke out at one of the local enterprises, for which rescuers are already working. According to preliminary data, two people were injured in total. In addition, there are reports of damage to residential buildings, some of which are still on fire.

Call to stay in shelters

Fedorov urged residents to remain in shelters as the attack is not yet over. Recovery efforts will begin only after approval from the military command.
