Russians on the Kostiantynivka direction storm with prisoners: tactics since 2023
Intensive fighting on the Kostiantynivka direction
According to hvylya.net: Heavy fighting continues in the Kostiantynivka direction, where the enemy is attempting to attack Ukrainian positions to cut off their logistics routes.
According to Volodymyr Zakhariv, deputy commander of the 157th separate mechanized brigade's drone systems battalion, the enemy is forced to constantly change its personnel due to heavy losses. Attacks are carried out by inadequately trained fighters who often lack the necessary equipment.
'They constantly send 2-3 people to attack. This tactic has been ongoing since 2023, although it lacks effectiveness,' the military explained.
Use of drones in combat
According to Volodymyr Zakhariv, most enemy drone operators lack significant experience and qualifications. An exception is the 'Rubikon' unit, which demonstrates high training and actively influences Ukrainian logistics.
'They use drones only because of their mass, paying no attention to the quality of FPV work,' emphasized Volodymyr Zakhariv.
The enemy is trying to prohibit the Ukrainian army from using logistics routes by attacking in the Kostiantynivka direction. The Ukrainian forces are holding the defense, but drones and poorly trained law enforcement pose a serious challenge to their resilience.
